- Static to lead and oversee all engineering activities related to static equipment throughout the project lifecycle.

YOUR ROLEAs Discipline Manager
- Static
, you will be responsible for leading all engineering activities related to pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, columns, piping supports, and structural supports. You will ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes and standards, quality requirements, and HSE regulations while effectively coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
- Lead and manage static equipment engineering activities from design through project completion.
- Review and approve:
Equipment datasheets, Technical specifications, Vendor documentation, Design calculations, Technical deviations, Vendor drawings and deliverables. - Ensure engineering deliverables are completed in accordance with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineers and designers within the discipline.
- Support construction, installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Resolve technical issues arising during fabrication, installation, and site execution.
- Coordinate effectively with:
Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical Rotating Equipment, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls, Construction Teams.
- Ensure compliance with: ASME, API, ANSI, ISO, Client specifications, Project QA/QC requirements
- Participate in design reviews, technical audits, inspections, and vendor evaluations.
- Ensure technical accuracy and completeness of all engineering deliverables and vendor documents.
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
- Participate in:
Risk Assessments, HAZID/HAZOP Reviews, Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), Incident Investigations - Ensure equipment design and installation practices align with project HSE requirements.
- Act as the focal point for all static equipment discipline matters.
- Interface with:
Clients, Consultants, Vendors, Subcontractors, Internal Engineering Teams - Resolve interdisciplinary technical conflicts impacting project execution.
- Maintain discipline documentation and records.
- Prepare weekly and monthly engineering progress reports.
- Ensure documentation remains current, accurate, and audit-ready throughout the project lifecycle.
15+ years of engineering experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or Industrial Projects.
Minimum 7 years in a managerial or discipline leadership role.
Proven EPC project experience from engineering through construction and commissioning.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams and coordinating with construction teams.
Strong exposure to:
Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Static Equipment Packages
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
