Technical Manager - Facilities Management

To lead and oversee all technical engineering functions across One Health managed healthcare facilities, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mechanical, electrical, civil, plumbing, fire protection, medical gas, and building systems. The Technical Manager is responsible for engineering governance, asset lifecycle management, technical compliance, engineering standards, project support, innovation, and technical leadership to ensure world-class healthcare facilities management.

Areas of Responsibility :

• Lead the technical governance of all engineering systems across One Health managed healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement engineering standards, maintenance strategies, technical procedures, and asset lifecycle plans to maximize equipment reliability and operational continuity.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring engineering best practices and continuous professional development.
• Review and approve engineering designs, maintenance methodologies, technical reports, root cause analyses, and engineering change requests.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, corrective, and reliability-centered maintenance programs across all engineering disciplines.
• Lead engineering audits, technical inspections, condition assessments, and asset performance reviews while implementing corrective actions where required.
• Manage engineering support for capital projects, facility upgrades, commissioning activities, and technical due diligence.
• Monitor contractor performance, engineering quality, and compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, and technical specifications.
• Drive energy management, sustainability initiatives, digital transformation, and smart building technologies to improve operational efficiency and reduce lifecycle costs.
• Prepare technical reports, engineering dashboards, CAPEX/OPEX forecasts, and strategic recommendations for senior management.
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Projects, Biomedical Engineering, Procurement, Finance, HSEQ, and external stakeholders to ensure integrated service delivery.
• Lead technical response during major equipment failures, emergencies, and business continuity events while ensuring minimal disruption to healthcare services.

Qualification & Experience-

• Minimum 15 years of engineering experience.
• Minimum 8 years in a senior technical leadership role within Facilities Management or Healthcare Engineering.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams across healthcare facilities.
• Strong background in asset management, engineering compliance, contractor management, and technical governance.
• Manage the delivery of integrated Facilities Management services across assigned healthcare facilities, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and achievement of contractual KPIs.
• Lead multidisciplinary operational teams, optimize resources, manage contractors, and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, cost optimization, innovation, and service excellence through effective planning and performance management
