POWERTECH is a center of excellence for propulsion technologies, specializing in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of combustion engines, expendable turbojet engines, and turbofan engines for a wide range of aerospace, defence, and autonomous applications, including fixed- and rotary-wing UAVs and other advanced platforms.

• Analyze jet engine system requirements and define control system requirements.
• Develop control laws and control algorithms for jet engine control (e.g., fuel metering, speed/thrust governing, limit protection).
• Create system, plant, and controller models in the Simulink/MATLAB environment and perform simulations.
• Develop and integrate control logic such as start-up, shutdown, and transient/steady-state operating modes.
• Perform validation and verification of control system requirements.
• Generate and review code from models (auto-code generation) where applicable.
• Commission developed designs on the relevant systems.
• Verify developed designs through MIL, SIL, HIL, and engine tests.
• Analyze test and simulation results and prepare technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with aviation certification processes.
• Maintain requirements traceability between system, control, and software levels.
• Prepare required design documentation.
• Work in coordination with performance, software, and mechanical teams.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Control, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical/Electronics, Software Engineering.
• Able to create system and controller models in Simulink/MATLAB and perform simulations.
• Knowledge of control theory (closed-loop control, PID, state-space, frequency-domain analysis).
• Knowledge of jet engine dynamics, operating principles, and functions.
• Experience with model-based design (MBD) workflows.
• Familiarity with requirements engineering and documentation practices.

• At least 5 years of experience in jet engine control systems projects.
• Knowledge of sensors and actuators used for jet engine control.
• Knowledge of system and software certification processes and tools used in aviation.
• Experience with MIL/SIL/HIL test environments.
• Familiarity with auto-code generation (Embedded Coder) and MISRA compliance.
