We are seeking an experienced Fire Safety Manager / Fire Engineering Director to lead fire safety management, fire engineering, compliance, and fire protection across buildings and projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead fire safety planning, fire engineering, risk assessments, and compliance programmes.
- Oversee fire detection, alarm, suppression, evacuation, and life safety systems.
- Ensure compliance with fire codes, regulations, standards, and authority requirements.
- Conduct fire risk assessments, inspections, audits, and safety reviews.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, authorities, and project teams.
- Review fire safety plans, technical submissions, designs, reports, and emergency procedures.
- Identify and resolve fire safety risks, non-compliance issues, and corrective actions.
- Lead and mentor fire safety engineers, officers, and technical teams.
- Diploma/Degree in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fire safety management, fire engineering, fire protection, or a related senior role.
- Strong knowledge of fire codes, fire protection systems, life safety, evacuation, and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with NFPA, BS, EN, local fire codes, and relevant international standards.
- Strong technical, analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with authorities, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant certification such as Fire Safety Manager, CFPS, PE, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, data centres, or large-scale development projects is preferred.
