ADNOC Group is hiring a Senior Project Manager in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates to lead major multidisciplinary engineering projects across Oil and Energy operations from initial concept through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, start-up and final handover. The role manages new plants, facilities and modifications to existing assets while maintaining technical integrity and delivering projects against established HSE, quality, cost and schedule objectives.

Candidates require at least 12 years of Oil and Gas project engineering and execution experience, including five years leading multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors.

The Senior Project Manager will manage, supervise and control the development and implementation of major multidisciplinary engineering projects from inception through completion and handover. The position is responsible for projects involving new plants and facilities as well as modifications to existing plants and systems. It ensures projects are developed economically and in accordance with shareholder guidelines, company requirements and established engineering and project management standards.

• Lead and provide technical input into project proposals and conceptual development.
• Review source information and participate in technical meetings to establish future project requirements.
• Define, revise and refine project scopes and objectives during early development.
• Obtain and evaluate background information relating to technical feasibility and potential project costs.
• Recommend project alternatives where appropriate.
• Develop implementation strategies for major development projects.
• Participate in converting initial proposals into coherent and viable project plans.
• Lead refinement of project designs, specifications, costs and phasing in coordination with User Departments and relevant functions.

• Direct project management teams through all phases from project initiation to commissioning and start-up.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams assigned to designated field projects.
• Establish the basis for project execution through approved work programs, project standards and working procedures.
• Initiate and approve Terms of Reference for contractors.
• Ensure projects are executed according to established company procedures, engineering requirements and sound project management principles.
• Exercise the supervisory and financial authority established for the position.
• Deliver major development projects against defined HSE, quality, cost and schedule targets.

• Coordinate project design and material specification activities.
• Maintain the technical integrity of surface facilities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure applicable codes, practices and standards are incorporated into project execution.
• Lead technical coordination with relevant external parties.
• Develop and manage project definition, design and execution in accordance with company objectives and field development guidelines.
• Review work programs and proposals associated with project implementation and recommend acceptance or rejection as appropriate.
