- Develop an understanding of coastal engineering and the role of applications of modelling and how they serve the designs
- Develop an understanding of coastal processes including met-oceanic forcing, specifically on wave propagation, hydrodynamic coastal circulation
- Develop expertise in hydrodynamic modelling, water exchange (flushing), wave propagation modelling, wave agitation modelling, beach modelling (beach profile and shoreline change
- Get introduced to usage of international codes and standards for coastal engineering and coastal structures design
- Support coastal engineers as well as senior engineers in the preparation of drawings with draftsman
- Develop skills on beach design, as well as specification for artificial beaches
- Support with numerical modelling and design tasks
- Support with pre and post processing tasks
- Develop skills on engineering/scientific report write-up, and ability to compose presentations using Microsoft suite
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Preferably Civil, Structural, Coastal), or equivalent
- Master’s Degree in Coastal Engineering is an advantage
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar role and industry
