The Senior Production Optimization Engineer will provide specialized technical advice and guidance to Subsurface and Surface Teams on production optimization matters. The position supports asset teams in addressing technical challenges, adopting appropriate technologies and maintaining consistent technical practices. It also promotes effective integration between petroleum engineering disciplines, with particular emphasis on connecting well and surface models to maximize asset value.

• Provide expert advice and consultation to asset teams across Production Optimization activities and related technical studies.
• Support integration of Production Optimization with other Petroleum Engineering disciplines.
• Promote coherent integration between well and surface models with a focus on production performance.
• Provide technical leadership in developing and implementing high-level Production Optimization frameworks.
• Apply appropriate processes and technical expertise to maximize asset value.
• Review and assure Production Optimization activities against Asset and ADNOC Offshore requirements.
• Support safe and cost-effective execution of optimization activities.

• Support implementation of the Technical Center Subsurface and DM strategy in accordance with its mandate and objectives.
• Participate in identifying technical challenges affecting ADNOC Offshore operations.
• Evaluate new technologies, tools, techniques and software solutions.
• Assess the suitability of proposed solutions for addressing Production Optimization challenges.
• Support effective adoption and implementation of new methodologies and technologies.
• Promote relevant industry practices that can enhance production and productivity while mitigating technical risks.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance for the design and delivery of specialist Production Optimization programs.
• Support development of Production Optimization capabilities across ADNOC Offshore.
• Advise on and review Production Optimization performance frameworks.
• Contribute to development and application of relevant key performance indicators.
• Develop standard practices and technical guidelines and promote their consistent application.
• Encourage continuous improvement, results-focused working practices, feedback loops and peer reviews.

• Capture lessons learned and best practices arising from Production Optimization activities.
• Ensure relevant technical knowledge is communicated across Assets.
• Promote knowledge sharing between technical teams through forums, workshops and other appropriate channels.
• Coordinate with ADNOC HQ, shareholders and other OPCOs on relevant Production Optimization activities.
• Support the capture and implementation of appropriate practices at corporate level.
• Promote Production Optimization learning across the ADNOC Offshore petroleum engineering community.
• Act as a technical mentor to Production Optimization personnel and fresh graduates.
• Deliver in-house Production Optimization training courses.
