Position Overview Parsons is seeking a Senior Highway Design Engineer
- Road Design in Abu Dhabi, UAE to provide advanced engineering support for major highway and infrastructure projects.

The role will undertake complex road design assignments, verify design documents and contractor submissions, prepare engineering calculations and construction documentation, and provide technical direction to designers, CAD personnel, and junior engineers.

The Senior Highway Design Engineer will combine practical highway design expertise with Civil 3D and CAD capability to support engineering development and site activities.

The position requires effective coordination across engineering disciplines and the ability to review technical information for compliance with applicable project requirements, codes, regulations, and design standards.

• Perform complex highway engineering and design assignments accurately and efficiently.
• Develop engineering solutions for road and associated infrastructure requirements.
• Extract and interpret engineering information from CAD drawings.
• Prepare engineering calculations and supporting technical documentation.
• Develop material quantity takeoffs and engineering estimates.
• Prepare surveys and designs required for assigned highway works.
• Apply relevant engineering principles throughout design development.
• Support resolution of technical highway design issues arising during project delivery.

• Verify highway design documents against applicable project requirements.
• Review contractor shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Provide technical feedback on submitted engineering information.
• Assess design documentation for consistency with approved requirements.
• Support resolution of design-related matters encountered during construction.
• Coordinate technical responses with relevant project disciplines.
• Review proposed solutions and identify issues requiring further engineering action.
• Maintain alignment between approved design intent and construction documentation.
