ADNOC Group is seeking an experienced Pipeline Engineer in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates to develop cost-effective, value-added engineering solutions across pipeline projects and plant change initiatives. The role covers pipeline design review, engineering coordination, project technical support, pigging operations, corrosion-related activities and engineering document control. Candidates should bring at least six years of pipeline engineering experience together with strong knowledge of HSE, international pipeline standards, corrosion, cathodic protection, metallurgy, welding and inspection practices.

The Pipeline Engineer will develop practical and cost-effective engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle while supporting plant change management in response to operational and market requirements. The position provides pipeline engineering expertise across engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover. It also supports accurate implementation of pipeline document management and control systems.

• Ensure consultant and engineering contractor designs are submitted in accordance with the approved scope of work.
• Help ensure facilities delivered to end users are safe, reliable, operable and maintainable.
• Review and approve pipeline engineering drawings, specifications and other technical design documents in line with project plans and objectives.
• Develop cost-effective and value-added engineering solutions to improve project outputs.
• Carry out designs for in-house engineered works, including drawings, specifications, data sheets and bills of quantities.
• Provide engineering input required to support and implement plant change management.
• Apply relevant engineering codes, standards and inspection requirements to pipeline activities.

• Provide technical expertise to project management activities throughout engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary engineering activities associated with pipeline project scopes.
• Ensure relevant company requirements are addressed across engineering interfaces.
• Participate in pipeline engineering projects, including review of tender packages.
• Witness commissioning activities where required.
• Follow up on the timely receipt of commissioning documentation, spares and manufacturers ' maintenance manuals.

• Plan and direct pigging operations according to network availability.
• Prepare monthly pigging schedules.
• Liaise with Corrosion Section personnel regarding routine chemical injection and batch treatment programmes.
• Ensure corrosion-related activities follow applicable Corrosion and Inspection guidelines and operating procedures.
• Audit and review operating procedures and operating philosophies to assess the network 's capability to transport required throughput from fields to the terminal.
