- Project HSE for a Full Time, on-site role in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The position will lead and manage project-related HSE activities throughout the full project lifecycle, from ASSESS, SELECT and DEFINE through EXECUTE, including tendering, construction and commissioning. The role serves as a focal point for project HSE performance, contractor compliance, risk management and assurance, ensuring activities comply with ADNOC HSE standards, regulatory requirements and applicable international best practices.

• Lead HSE activities for projects and engineering modifications throughout all lifecycle phases.
• Ensure project activities comply with ADNOC HSE policies, procedures, standards and applicable requirements.
• Establish, implement and monitor project-specific HSE Plans aligned with project scope, risk profile and execution strategy.
• Monitor HSE performance through structured reporting, audits and management reviews.
• Lead project HSE audits and ensure findings are closed within required time frames.
• Verify effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee contractor HSE performance and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Lead investigations of HSE incidents associated with project activities.
• Ensure root causes are identified and appropriate remedial measures are implemented.
• Apply ADNOC HSE specifications, Codes of Practice and project-specific requirements consistently throughout project execution.
• Support leadership HSE site visits and maintain alignment with project HSE objectives.
• Drive HSE awareness and communication across multidisciplinary project teams.

• Lead and participate in HAZID and HAZOP studies.
• Conduct and support project risk assessments and impact assessments.
• Participate in root cause analysis where required.
• Ensure project risks are identified, assessed and mitigated in accordance with ALARP principles and ADNOC requirements.
• Review HSE aspects of project changes through the Management of Change process.
• Verify that risks arising from proposed changes are adequately evaluated and controlled.

• Establish and monitor HSE assurance processes to confirm that project deliverables, equipment, materials and services comply with applicable safety requirements before installation, commissioning, or handover.
• Review HSE inputs from engineering, quality, procurement and project teams to maintain an integrated approach to project execution.
• Ensure HSE requirements are incorporated into procurement specifications and vendor deliverables in accordance with applicable safety codes and standards.

• Act as the focal point for project HSE matters.
• Coordinate HSE requirements across Project, Operations and Engineering teams.
• Engage with Central Engineering, licensors, vendors, OEMs and EPC contractors.
• Maintain effective HSE coordination across project interfaces.
• Communicate relevant HSE procedures, requirements and updates to project stakeholders.
• Promote consistent understanding and application of project HSE expectations.

• Implement applicable HSE policies, systems and procedures in line with Company and international standards.
• Monitor HSE KPIs and performance metrics against project targets and business objectives.
• Prepare accurate HSE reports and performance dashboards for management and governance purposes.
• Support HSE-related budget planning and cost-control activities within project scope.
• Promote continuous improvement, innovation and recognized best practices in project HSE management.
• Support informed management decision-making through reliable HSE performance information.
