Engineer I - Construction (Preservation & Maintenance)

Department: Construction/ Project Execution
Job DescriptionCoordinate assigned preservation and maintenance activities to protect equipment and materials from receipt through installation,precommissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare equipment registers and preservationschedules using approved procedures and vendor requirements.
- Check storage conditions, protective covers,desiccants, lubrication and environmental protection.
- Coordinate routine inspections and approvedperiodic preservation tasks with technicians and vendors.
- Monitor preservation requirements for installedand stored equipment across assigned work areas.
- Record inspections and maintenance inpreservation check sheets and the project tracking system.
- Raise damage reports, overdue actions and deviations, and follow corrective actions to closure.
- Coordinate access, permits and isolationrequirements before maintenance or preservation work.
- Support depreservation and transfer ofpreservation records to commissioning and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or arelevant engineering discipline.
- 3+ years in industrial construction or equipment maintenance, including preservation activities.
