ADNOC Group is seeking an Instrument and Control Maintenance Engineer in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to plan and supervise maintenance of plant instrumentation and control systems. The role coordinates with operations, mechanical, and electrical teams to maintain equipment reliability, address faults, and complete preventive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance activities with minimal disruption.

- Plan, supervise, and coordinate preventive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance for plant instrumentation and control systems.
- Support equipment testing, troubleshooting, routine surveillance, and plant start-up activities.
- Work with operations, mechanical, and electrical teams to align maintenance schedules and resolve technical issues.
- Provide field support for critical repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Assess workloads and backlogs, allocate personnel, and arrange tools, spare parts, materials, and consumables.
- Investigate equipment failures and unplanned shutdowns through root cause analysis and recommend reliability improvements.
- Contribute to major maintenance, upgrade, and obsolescence planning within the division's five-year rolling business plans.
- Support project development, technical specifications, implementation, and commissioning activities within the assigned scope.
- Participate in technical bid evaluations, material inspections, and contractor performance monitoring.
- Supervise assigned employees, coordinate activities, and support technical training and development.
- Contribute to departmental budgets, monitor significant variances, and provide inputs for management reports.
- Apply approved maintenance procedures, legal requirements, ISO-aligned improvements, and ADNOC HSE and sustainability standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control or Electronics, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 6 years of instrumentation and control engineering and maintenance experience in a large industrial organization.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
- Professional certifications as applicable.
- Ability to coordinate maintenance teams, investigate equipment failures, and support reliable plant operations.

Working ConditionsThe role involves minimal physical effort and is primarily performed in an air-conditioned environment. Occasional site visits may involve exposure to heat, humidity, and dust.
