Yellow Plant Manager – High-Speed Rail (HSR)

We are seeking an experienced Yellow Plant Manager to support a major High-Speed Rail (HSR) project in the UAE
.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, availability, maintenance and performance of railway plant, machinery and associated equipment required to support project activities.
The position requires a strong background in railway Yellow Plant / on-track plant management
, ideally gained on High-Speed Rail projects or major railway infrastructure programmes
.
The role will work closely with construction, trackwork, maintenance, logistics, HSE and project teams to ensure equipment is available, reliable, compliant and efficiently utilized throughout project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise all Yellow Plant operations, equipment and machinery supporting railway project activities.
- Ensure high levels of plant availability, productivity, reliability and operational efficiency.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Manage plant personnel, technicians, operators, supervisors and associated resources, including daily work schedules and priorities.
- Monitor equipment performance, utilization, downtime, productivity and maintenance costs.
- Ensure all plant and equipment activities comply with project HSE requirements, quality standards, statutory requirements and company procedures.
- Coordinate closely with project, construction, trackwork, engineering and logistics teams to ensure plant resources meet operational and programme requirements.
- Manage spare parts, tools, consumables and equipment procurement requirements in coordination with Procurement and suppliers.
- Prepare operational and maintenance reports and monitor relevant plant KPIs.
- Analyze equipment failures and operational performance and implement measures to improve reliability, increase availability and reduce downtime.
- Support equipment mobilization, allocation and demobilization in line with construction and trackwork priorities.
- Coordinate equipment inspections, testing, certification and return-to-service requirements.
- Manage relationships with equipment manufacturers, OEMs, suppliers, maintenance contractors and external service providers.
- Ensure accurate maintenance records, equipment history and asset information are maintained.
