Road Safety Coordinator; Walk-In Chennai & Kochi; 3rd

Develop and implement comprehensive road safety strategies tailored to Chennai and Kochi's unique traffic environments. Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards on roadways. Organize and deliver targeted road safety training programs for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists. Analyze accident data to pinpoint recurring issues and formulate data-driven safety improvement plans.

Any Bachelor Degree OR Diploma (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue)

Minimum one of the following:

• NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent
• Any other HSE certifications

Mandatory

• Incident Investigation techniques.
• IVMS Software expertise & UAE Driving license

Additional HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage.

• Minimum 2-4 Years of experience in any industry.
• At least 1 year of experience in managing and implementing Road Safety aspects and with a specific focus on IVMS data generation and reports.

• Ability to conduct HSE and Transport Safety orientation / induction
• HSE awareness sessions to workers
• Understand and implement Journey Management Plan
• Awareness on H2S & Breathing Apparatus where applicable
• Ability to understand and participate in Transport Safety/Road Safety Risk Assessments
• Ability to conduct Vehicle inspections with thorough knowledge on the safety devices
• Ability to understand and implement Transport Emergency response plans/procedures
• Ability to prepare Road Safety awareness training materials, maintain database, and generate reports from IVMS or equivalent
• Ability to speak, read and write English with good communication skills
