Penspen is urgently looking to hire for Lead Commissioning Engineer (E&I) for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi.
Qualification Required- The candidates should have bachelor's degree of engineering in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics Engineering OR relevant discipline from an accredited university.
- Responsible for leading and coordinating Electrical and Instrumentation pre-commissioning, commissioning, energization, testing, functional checks, system integration, start-up support and handover activities for offshore oil & gas facilities.
- Provides technical leadership from commissioning preparation through safe energization, loop checking, functional testing, integrated system testing, performance verification and handover to Operations.
- Ensures that all E&I systems are commissioned in accordance with approved engineering documents, commissioning procedures, project specifications, vendor requirements, HSE standards and Client/Operator requirements.
- Lead E&I commissioning activities from system completion through start-up and handover.
- Develop commissioning execution plans, priorities and work sequences.
- Establish commissioning strategies for electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Coordinate commissioning activities with Construction, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and HSE teams.
- Ensure systems are ready for commissioning before commencing functional tests.
- Lead commissioning meetings and daily coordination activities.
- Provide technical direction to commissioning engineers, supervisors, technicians and specialist contractors.
- Ensure commissioning activities are executed safely and in accordance with approved procedures.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 to 8+ years significant in offshore project.
- Proven experience in E&I, commissioning, start-up and handover within Oil and gas offshore projects.
- Demonstrated experience covering both electrical and instrumentation/control commissioning.
- Experience with brownfield modifications, shutdowns, tie-ins and SIMOPS is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary commissioning teams and specialist contractors.
- Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Background.
- Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage.
