We are looking for an experienced Yard Engineer to support offshore fabrication activities at a fabrication yard in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in the construction of offshore platforms, jackets, and modules, with strong technical knowledge of fabrication, installation, testing, mechanical completion, and pre‑commissioning activities.

The role involves coordinating fabrication and construction activities while ensuring that work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable engineering and industry standards. Strong experience in piping fabrication, hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, system walk‑downs, and punch list clearance will be essential.

• Support fabrication yard activities for offshore platforms, jackets, and modules.
• Coordinate piping fabrication and installation activities.
• Supervise and support hydrotesting and pneumatic testing activities.
• Coordinate mechanical completion and pre‑commissioning activities.
• Conduct system walk‑downs and coordinate punch list identification and clearance.
• Coordinate with construction, fabrication, QA/QC, commissioning, and project teams.
• Monitor fabrication and installation activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Apply relevant engineering standards and specifications during fabrication activities.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Support project planning, progress monitoring, and technical reporting.
• Maintain effective coordination between yard teams, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Promote safe and efficient execution of offshore fabrication activities.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of offshore fabrication yard experience.
• Proven experience in construction of:
  • Offshore Platforms
  • Jackets
  • Modules
• Strong experience in piping fabrication and installation.
• Hands‑on experience with hydrotesting and pneumatic testing.
• Experience with mechanical completion and pre‑commissioning.
• Experience conducting system walk‑downs and clearing punch lists.
• Knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM
  , and related industry standards.
• Strong coordination, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• EPC Offshore Oil & Gas project experience is preferred.
