We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to support major Oil & Gas and EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. This is a site-based role focused on project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and ensuring effective execution against approved project baselines and delivery targets.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with strong exposure to Oil & Gas and EPC projects. The position requires extensive site-based planning and scheduling experience, along with advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.

The successful candidate will play an important role in monitoring project progress, analyzing critical activities, developing look-ahead schedules, and supporting recovery planning. • Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules for Oil & Gas and EPC projects.
• Manage project baseline schedules and ensure activities are aligned with approved plans.
• Monitor project progress against planned schedules and identify deviations.
• Perform critical path analysis to identify activities that may affect project completion.
• Prepare and maintain look-ahead schedules for site execution teams.
• Develop recovery plans to address project delays and schedule slippage.
• Coordinate with project and site teams to collect accurate progress information.
• Analyze schedule performance and provide relevant planning updates.
• Support project management teams with schedule-related analysis and recommendations.
• Maintain effective planning and scheduling controls throughout project execution.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong experience in Oil & Gas and EPC projects.
• Extensive site-based project planning and scheduling experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of baseline schedules and schedule management.
• Experience in progress monitoring and schedule performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of critical path analysis.
• Experience preparing look-ahead schedules.
• Proven experience developing recovery plans for delayed activities.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and project planning skills.
