K ’s Abu Dhabi PMC team seeks an HSE Manager for an offshore brownfield water-injection development at UZ Island. According to the employer, work begins in Abu Dhabi, transfers to a Spain office after relevant administrative processes, then returns to Abu Dhabi; exact timing and permits must be clarified directly.
Key responsibilities- Lead development and implementation of the project HSE Management Plan for brownfield offshore operations.
- Coordinate HAZID, HAZOP, simultaneous operations (SIMOPS), job safety analyses and permit-to-work/control-of-work reviews.
- Oversee offshore construction, installation, commissioning, shutdown interfaces and contractor safety performance.
- Investigate incidents, evaluate root causes, manage corrective actions and conduct HSE audits and management site visits.
- Report leading and lagging KPIs; manage emergency preparedness, toolbox talks, safety engagement and environmental/waste controls.
- Liaise with the client, project teams and regulatory stakeholders on compliance and risk.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or a relevant discipline.
- Approximately 20–25+ years’ HSE experience in oil and gas, with at least five years in management or leadership.
- Offshore EPC, brownfield modifications, water-injection, shutdown and SIMOPS experience; ADNOC/Middle East exposure strongly preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include NEBOSH International Diploma, NVQ Level 6, CSP, GradIOSH/CMIOSH or equivalents; ISO 45001/14001 lead-auditor credentials are desirable.
