Senior Quantity Surveyor - Aviation

AtkinsRéalis is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Abu Dhabi to lead pre-contract and measurement work. Although the advertised title specifies aviation, the requirements expressly seek reclamation and marine experience. The position covers both pre-contract services and commercial administration after award.

Early-stage work includes:

• cost planning
• estimates
• cash-flow forecasts
• whole-life costing

The surveyor will prepare bills of quantities, assess tenders, support negotiations and draft contracts. Post-contract duties cover registers for bonds and insurance, interim valuations, payment certificates and variations. Further responsibilities include cost control, commercial-risk responses, progress reports and reporting commercial matters to an Associate Director.

The employer requests a quantity-surveying degree from a recognised UK university, at least ten years of experience and at least five years of UAE or international experience. A minimum of three years with a consultant or client is also required. Candidates should be MRICS qualified or pursuing APC with chartership expected within a specified period.

CostX or similar software knowledge, communication skills and English technical-writing ability are requested.
