Position Overview ADNOC Group is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer to provide technical expertise in instrumentation, electronic control systems and engineering design. The role involves reviewing engineering designs, specifications and technical documentation, validating design calculations and providing technical guidance to ensure that instrumentation and control engineering activities meet company requirements and applicable standards. The successful candidate will coordinate with engineering disciplines, technical departments, business units, operations teams, engineering consultants and EPC contractors to resolve technical issues, manage engineering interfaces and maintain the quality and integrity of instrumentation and control designs.

• Provide specialized technical expertise on instrumentation and control engineering design matters.
• Review instrumentation and control engineering designs to ensure compliance with technical requirements and applicable standards.
• Evaluate engineering studies and design deliverables prepared by external engineering consultants.
• Review and approve drawings, specifications and technical documents relating to instrumentation and control systems.
• Perform engineering calculations to validate designs and identify optimization opportunities.
• Ensure engineering designs maintain the required technical quality and integrity.
• Provide technical recommendations to address instrumentation and control engineering challenges.

• Review design studies and engineering documentation submitted by consultants and contractors.
• Verify that proposed engineering solutions meet company specifications, technical requirements and approved design standards.
• Assess design calculations and technical assumptions to support design validation.
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering designs while maintaining technical compliance.
• Review proposed design changes and provide technical input where required.
• Support the application of appropriate engineering technologies and cost-effective design solutions.

• Prepare scopes of work for external engineering consultants and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors.
• Define technical requirements for assigned instrumentation and control engineering activities.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors during engineering design execution.
• Review contractor engineering submissions and provide technical comments or approvals within assigned responsibilities.
• Support the resolution of technical issues arising during engineering activities.
• Ensure external engineering deliverables comply with relevant company requirements and standards.

• Provide in-house technical authority support for specialized instrumentation and control engineering matters.
• Conduct technical authority reviews of vendor and supplier deviation requests.
• Evaluate requests for exceptions or non-compliance with company specifications and standards submitted through the Project Management Consultant (PMC).
