Role & responsibilities
- Conduct daily welding inspections and coordinate with Client representative during site visit.
- Prepare and schedule NDT request including PWHT.
- Establish Inspection and Test plan (ITP), with respect to project Standards and Specifications.
- Prepare Welding Procedure Specifications and Conduct PQT, WQT and witness mechanical testing of test specimens.
- Supervision of QA/QC activities related to Pipelines/Piping and Hydro testing / Pneumatic Testing of erected spools.
- Carryout mechanical and QC clearance of hydro test packages.
- Preparation of final documents for the Project completion Dossier.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10-year experience in Welding Inspection related to Oil & Gas projects in Middle East.
- Previous approval in ADNOC Group or other Oil/Gas Client.
- Candidates need to possess exposure in cross country pipeline projects with larger diameter pipes in automatic welding process.
- Certified Welding Inspector (AWS/CSWIP 3.1)
- Certified ASNT Level-2.
- Willing to reside in site project accommodation.
