Our rapidly growing aerospace company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Design and Development Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, testing, and evaluating new aircraft and spacecraft designs. Your expertise in designing and developing advanced technologies will be crucial in propelling our company to the forefront of the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities- Conduct research and analysis to develop new designs for aircraft and spacecraft components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project specifications and requirements
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed 2D and 3D models of design concepts
- Perform simulations and tests to ensure designs meet performance standards
- Identify and troubleshoot any design issues or failures, implementing necessary solutions
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production of designed components
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements, incorporating new technologies into designs when applicable
- Document all design processes, including detailed reports on testing procedures and results
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in aerospace engineering, specifically in design and development
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Solid Works) and simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS)
- Strong understanding of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, structural mechanics, propulsion systems, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
