ABOUT THE ROLEPulse Nova is seeking an experienced Systems Integration Engineering Team Lead to lead the end-to-end integration of radar, electronic warfare (EW), command and control (C2), and multi-sensor systems across naval, ground, and airborne/UAS platforms. The role combines systems architecture, interface management, and multidisciplinary engineering leadership to ensure seamless interoperability, RF coexistence, and reliable system performance. The successful candidate will drive integration planning, verification and validation activities, and system-level troubleshooting while coordinating cross-functional teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the definition of the end-to-end integration architecture combining the NEMUS radar suite, electronic warfare (EW) systems, C2, and additional sensors across naval, ground vehicle, and airborne/UAS platforms.
- Define and maintain system-level requirements, functional architecture, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and technical baselines for each platform variant.
- Analyze and resolve system-level coexistence issues between radar and EW subsystems (RF spectrum overlap, EMI/EMC, antenna placement, shared power and cooling).
- Define and manage interfaces between the radar, EW suite, C2, and other onboard sensors (EO/IR, direction-finding, navigation, IFF, AIS, etc.).
- Lead multidisciplinary integration activities across RF, network/software, C2, and electromechanical disciplines, ensuring correct end-to-end system operation.
- Own the integration plan and schedule, coordinating the RF, network/software, C2, and electromechanical engineers and the installation technicians.
- Define system verification and validation plans, acceptance criteria, and verification matrices; lead FAT, SAT, qualification campaigns, demonstrations, and field trials on naval, ground, and airborne platforms.
- Lead system-level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, coordinating the multidisciplinary team to resolve technical issues.
- Represent engineering in technical reviews, customer meetings, demonstrations, and deployment activities.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including requirements, architecture, ICDs, verification matrices, test plans, test reports, and technical assessments.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Systems, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering / systems integration of radar, EW, C2, or other mission-critical sensor systems.
- Strong understanding of radar and EW subsystem architecture and of RF coexistence between co-located sensors and effectors.
- Experience integrating multi-sensor systems onto naval, ground-vehicle, or airborne/UAS platforms.
- Experience with C2/C4
ISR system integration; familiarity with C2 or comparable defense C2 systems is a strong plus. - Proven experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and driving issues to resolution.
- Experience with requirements engineering, interface management, and system-level integration testing.
- Experience with verification, validation, qualification, FAT/SAT, and performance assessment activities.
- Familiarity with RF and electronic test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters).
- Experience producing structured engineering and customer-facing technical documentation.
