Position SummaryWe are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our team at Khalifah A City. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of civil engineering projects. This includes roads, bridges, dams and other infrastructure projects. The position offers a competitive salary of 1600 and we are open to considering candidates from abroad. Minimum work experience is required.
Job Responsibilities- Develop plans and designs for civil engineering projects using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software
- Prepare cost estimates and project timelines
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations
- Liaise with contractors, local authorities and other stakeholders
- Monitor progress of projects in-house or on site
- Oversee the construction process, ensuring that safety protocols are adhered to
- Monitor quality control of materials used in civil engineering projects
- Resolve any technical issues that arise during the project's development or implementation
- Make recommendations for improvement of project design or timelines as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Previous work experience in a related position is preferred but not required
- Ability to interpret relevant codes and regulations
- Working knowledge of CAD software is essential
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on safety standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
