- Ensure full compliance with TAQA, ADOSH/ADPHC, and project HSE requirements at site.
- Implement and maintain the Project HSE Plan, procedures, risk assessments and PTW requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety observations, audits and toolbox talks, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
- Monitor electrical, lifting, excavation, work at height, confined space, scaffolding and other high risk activities.
- Lead incident and near miss investigations, identify root causes, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and control subcontractor HSE performance, ensuring compliance with approved HSE requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports, statistics, KPIs and performance updates, and coordinate with the client and project management.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant UAE HSE experience in construction, infrastructure, power, electrical or utility projects.
- Proven experience in power transmission, distribution, substations, electrical networks, and associated civil works.
- Experience working on TAQA / Abu Dhabi utility projects.
- Strong knowledge of TAQA HSE requirements, ADOSH/ADPHC requirements and UAE HSE legislation.
- TAQA or other similar approved HSE Engineer in UAE
- NEBOSH IGC
- ISO 45001 and 14001 lead Auditor
