Electrical Project Engineer

We are an electrical and MEP contracting company with a growing project portfolio, looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to manage the electrical scope of our projects. You will lead works from site mobilisation to final handover, keeping projects on schedule, within budget and compliant with authority standards. The role works closely with project management, procurement and site teams, and offers hands-on involvement across the full project cycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise site electrical works, including LV distribution, power, lighting, earthing and low-current systems
• Review drawings and specifications; prepare shop drawings, material submittals and method statements
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, other MEP trades and subcontractors
• Manage authority submissions, inspections and approvals
• Track progress against the schedule and prepare progress reports and manpower plans
• Raise material requests and confirm quantities with the purchasing team
• Support variations, work measurement and monthly progress billing
• Lead testing and commissioning, snagging, as-built drawings and O&M manuals
• Enforce quality and safety procedures on site

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in electrical contracting, with local project experience preferred
• Practical experience with authority approvals and inspections
• Strong knowledge of IEC/BS standards and local regulations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; MS Project or Primavera P6 is a plus
• Site supervision and subcontractor management
• Project planning, progress tracking and reporting
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making on site
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage
• Fluent English;
  Arabic is a plus
