Job Summary
As a Rides and Attractions Operator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of rides and attractions within an indoor theme park, directly influencing the guest experience from park opening to closing. Your responsibilities span multiple dynamic positions—such as Batcher, Greeter, Loader, Unloader, and Operator—where you deliver exceptional customer service while prioritizing safety protocols above all else.
You will operate machinery, manage small teams, and multi‑task effectively to guarantee smooth operations and unforgettable experiences for guests. This role demands a blend of technical skill, leadership, and a keen ability to concentrate for extended periods during busy and quiet moments, all while maintaining a focus on compliance with rigorous Health and Safety standards.
- Greet and warmly welcome guests while ensuring adherence to all ride and attraction rules and safety regulations throughout their visit.
- Load and unload guests safely and efficiently, verifying proper restraint procedures and comfort measures.
- Fit and distribute safety attire to guests as required, ensuring all safety protocols are met.
- Lead ride downtimes and handle emergencies with calm professionalism, maintaining guest trust and safety.
- Oversee and manage small teams to ensure effective coordination during all operational phases, including opening and closing procedures.
- Organize and control queue systems to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
- Conduct accurate guest height checks and perform all safety checks on equipment, restraints, and emergency systems before and during operation.
- Maintain accurate records of ride performance metrics, including downtimes, through puts, and team breaks.
- Follow and enforce all Health and Safety policies, ensuring clean and secure working environments.
- Confidently handle ride stop and emergency stop systems as needed for safety and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and independent problem‑solving abilities across various ride positions including Batcher, Greeter, Attendant, and Loader.
- Act as a mentor in upholding operational standards and guest satisfaction.
- Engage creatively to maintain high energy levels during both busy and slow periods.
- Perform additional duties as required to support operational and business needs.
- Completion of higher secondary or equivalent education as a baseline qualification.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for positive guest interaction.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear and friendly interactions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team amidst fast‑paced environments.
- Outgoing and enthusiastic personality to engage with guests and maintain a highly interactive demeanor.
- Adaptability to manage high‑pressure situations and work across long shifts while maintaining high performance.

- One year of previous experience in rides and attractions in a theme park or equivalent role.
- Knowledge and proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.
- Creative reasoning abilities to address challenges and brainstorm new solutions or approaches for improved operations.
