Our Abu Dhabi office is currently seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Credit Controller to join our team and support our operational and administrative functions.
Role OverviewAs a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the company’s debtor ledger and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding invoices. This role is critical to maintaining healthy cash flow and involves proactive communication with clients to resolve payment issues while preserving strong business relationships. You will also support credit risk assessment and collaborate closely with internal teams to resolve payment‑related queries.
MainResponsibilities
- Monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
- Proactively contact clients via phone, email, or written correspondence regarding overdue payments.
- Resolve payment issues and disputes efficiently while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of collection activities and customer communications.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on debtor balances and overdue accounts to management.
- Escalate problematic accounts to the appropriate internal stakeholders when necessary.
- Assist in evaluating the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by conducting credit checks and recommending suitable credit limits.
- Collaborate with the accounts and sales teams to resolve issues impacting timely payments.
