Health Care Player in Abu Dhabi
RoleIt is a pivotal strategic leadership role responsible for the overall financial stewardship, operational excellence, governance, compliance, and corporate development of a healthcare organization, ensuring long-term sustainability, growth, and profitability. The CFO provides comprehensive financial and operational direction, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, and performance management.
Responsibilities- Define long-term financial vision aligned with healthcare organizational goals.
- Influence executive decision‑making with clear financial insights.
- Foster a culture of accountability and results orientation.
- Develop robust budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Monitor and control operational costs and profitability.
- Evaluate financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Understand healthcare delivery models and revenue cycle management (good‑to‑have).
- Monitor departmental KPIs to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Implement financial systems that support operational excellence.
- Ensure adherence to UAE healthcare regulations and statutory requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong internal control frameworks.
- Monitor compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
- Oversee audit processes and implement recommendations.
- Develop business cases for investments and expansions.
- Monitor post‑acquisition integration and performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or Healthcare Management is preferred.
- Minimum 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a Tier 1 Hospital.
- Professional finance qualification is mandatory: CA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA.
- Extensive experience in hospital or multi‑facility healthcare operations, including budgeting, revenue cycle management, and financial oversight.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, corporate development, and mergers & acquisitions in the healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of UAE/GCC healthcare regulations, licensing, compliance, and tax requirements.
- Continuous professional development and up‑to‑date knowledge of IFRS and UAE healthcare financial regulations.
