Promotion Manager; SCA Category

Tradehills Financial Consultancy Services LLC is an SCA Category 5 licensed financial firm based in Abu Dhabi. We are seeking a Promotion Manager to support our financial promotion and introduction activities in line with applicable SCA regulations.

The role is business development in nature and reports to the Head of Category.

The Promotion Manager will be responsible for financial product promotion and business development activities strictly within the firm’s licensed scope and in accordance with SCA regulations, including:

• Promoting financial products by inviting or encouraging investors to buy or subscribe, collecting required client information, and evaluating clients’ capability and tendency to afford risks (risk profiling), strictly for promotion purposes only
• Acting as the primary contact point for broker sales consultants and maintaining professional business relationships
• Driving the implementation and execution of business development plans and promotion initiatives
• Managing promotion-related pipeline activities and implementing effective promotion processes to enhance client and business partner experience
• Promoting the firm’s brand and profile through compliant digital marketing and social media initiatives
• Introducing clients to licensed financial services providers without acting as a contracting party, and ensuring all communications are clear, honest, accurate, and compliant with applicable SCA conduct and disclosure requirements

• A university degree with minimum 3 years’ experience in financial markets and/or capital markets
• Where no university degree is held, a minimum of 7 years’ relevant industry experience
• Alternative qualification and experience route:
  Experience for not less than (3) years in financial analysis or the field of financial markets, investment, wealth management or financial planning along with any of the below alternative qualifications:
  • Certified Investment Professional
  • Certificate in Quantitative Finance
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
  • Certified International Investment Analyst
  • ICA Specialist Certificate in Conduct Risk
• Must have passed the SCA-prescribed 2 CISI examinations:
  • UAE Financial Rules and Regulations
  • International Certificate in Wealth and Investment Management (Level
    3)
• Prior experience within an SCA-regulated or similar regulated financial services environment will be an added advantage
• Strong compliance awareness, communication skills, and professional conduct
