We're Hiring:
Accounts Receivable Lead
Location:
Abu Dhabi
Ali & Sons Holding is seeking a results-driven Accounts Receivable Lead to oversee and strengthen our AR function across the business. This role is ideal for a finance professional who combines strong technical accounting expertise with leadership capability and a continuous-improvement mindset. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate receivables management, healthy cash flow, and robust financial controls.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Accounts Receivable team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
- Oversee end-to-end AR operations including invoicing, collections, cash application, credit management, disputes, and refunds
- Monitor AR aging and overdue balances; support effective collection strategies to optimize cash flow
- Ensure timely and accurate recording, allocation, and clearance of customer payments
- Prepare and review AR reports, KPIs, and month-end closing activities
- Review customer contracts to ensure accurate billing and compliance
- Ensure proper recording and timely bank deposit of physical cheques
- Drive process improvements, automation, and best practices within AR
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, enhance revenue, and improve profitability
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong knowledge of AR processes, controls, and reporting
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Fluent in English;
Arabic is an advantage
