Responsibilities
Wood is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to lead and oversee the financial management of our operations. This role is responsible for ensuring robust financial planning, reporting, and control while supporting strategic decision-making and business growth.
The Finance Manager will manage budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor financial performance, ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements, and provide insightful analysis to senior leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening financial governance, optimizing costs, and driving sustainable profitability across the organization.
Qualifications- Qualified accountant or working towards a qualification
- Minimum of 5 years relevant accounting / commercial experience
- Commercial experience with good understanding of cost models
- Previous experience of managing and developing teams
- Track record in people management
- Good IT / Systems knowledge
- Experience of business partnering
- Ability to form and maintain strong working relationships
- Strong people skills and ability to develop team
- Deadline driven
