We are building a category-leading multi-clinic healthcare group across the UAE. We are seeking a highly driven, commercially minded Financial Controller to build, own, and scale the group’s finance function from the ground up and act as a true business partner to senior management.
p>This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys creating structure where little exist.You will take ownership of financial integrity, performance reporting, cash management, and value creation, while supporting acquisitions, post-merger integration, and rapid expansion. p>You will be responsible for designing and implementing the financial systems, controls, and processes required to scale the business from 3 clinics to 15+ and beyond. The successful candidate will transform finance from basic bookkeeping into a best-in-class, decision-grade function that directly shapes strategy and performance.
Responsibilities Financial Reporting and Accounting ul> li>Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across all entities using Xero li>Own the month-end close process, ensuring completion within 10 working days li>Maintain robust balance sheet integrity through disciplined reconciliations and reviews li>Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and compliance with relevant regulations /ul> Budgeting and Forecasting ul> li>Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts at group and clinic level li>Produce budget vs.
actual analysis with clear commercial drivers and corrective actions li>Develop forward-looking financial models to support strategic, pricing, and cost initiatives /ul> Cashflow & Working Capital Management ul> li>Own short- and medium-term cashflow forecasting and liquidity management li>Optimize receivables, payables, and inventory cycles to improve cash conversion li>Monitor and manage working capital risks and funding requirements li>Support disciplined capital expenditure planning and return analysis /ul> Systems, Processes & Controls ul> li>Own and continuously optimize Xero as the core financial system, including chart of accounts, integrations, and reporting structure li>Design scalable financial processes to support multi-site operations /ul> M&A and Integration Support ul> li>Lead post-acquisition Xero migrations and financial systems integration li>Standardize reporting, policies, and controls across acquired clinics /ul> Qualifications ul> li>7-10 year’s experience in financial accounting or audit preferably with big 4 li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required;
professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are highly advantageous li>Hands on experience managing end to end finance in a multi-site environment li>Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; comfortable working with large datasets li>Track record of building and delivering decision-grade management reporting and financial analysis li>High ownership mindset with strong commercial judgment and problem-solving capability /ul>#J-18808-Ljbffr
