The Senior Associate - Investment Provides comprehensive support by conducting detailed research, analysis, and reporting on various real estate projects and investments.
Roles, Responsibilities, Duties1. Investment Research and Market Analysis
- Support the evaluation of new investment opportunities, joint ventures, and platform acquisitions through structured market, sector, and competitive analysis.
- Prepare clear and concise screening materials, research notes, and analytical summaries to support internal review and escalation to senior stakeholders.
- Build, review, and maintain comprehensive financial models for investment opportunities, including DCF, IRR, MOIC, and scenario-based analyses.
- Assess investment returns, sensitivities, downside cases, and key value drivers across multiple capital structures.
- Maintain and update financial models throughout the transaction lifecycle to reflect diligence findings and negotiated terms.
- Support transaction execution activities across the full deal lifecycle, from initial screening through due diligence, structuring, and completion.
- Prepare detailed investment memoranda, valuation summaries, and supporting analysis for Investment Committee and senior management review.
- Lead and support the preparation of high-quality investment materials, including investment memoranda, valuation summaries, and Investment Committee presentations.
- Translate complex financial and commercial analysis into clear, concise, and well-structured presentation materials.
- Support senior team members in presenting investment opportunities and responding to stakeholder queries.
- Support the structuring of investment transactions, including review of term sheets, SPAs, SHAs, JVAs, and financing documentation.
- Support negotiations with counter parties and advisors by providing analytical, financial, and commercial input as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of real estate assets and transactions.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports and presentations as directed.
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate, finance, or a related field is required.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, RICS, CFA, or equivalent.
- At least 5+ years of experience in a related field.
- 1-year minimum post professional qualification.
