Global Head of Crypto Derivatives Trading - Hong Kong

Trevose Partners is working with a leading global digital asset trading platform to appoint a Global Head of Derivatives Trading. This is a newly created executive leadership role overseeing one of the most important revenue engines within the organisation.

The derivatives franchise represents approximately 70% of total company revenue, and the successful candidate will assume full global P&L responsibility. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role carries significant strategic visibility and will shape the future direction of a rapidly scaling digital asset trading platform.

This individual will lead the derivatives trading business globally with responsibility across the full operating model, including trading, product development, technology and operations.

The position requires a leader capable of combining institutional derivatives expertise from traditional financial markets with a deep understanding of digital asset market structure.

• Full P&L ownership for the global derivatives trading business
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary organization spanning trading, technology, product and operations
• Define and execute the global strategy for the derivatives franchise
• Drive innovation across derivatives products, trading infrastructure and client offering
• Ensure the platform remains competitive in rapidly evolving digital asset markets
• Partner closely with executive leadership on growth strategy and expansion initiatives
• Maintain strong operational and risk frameworks appropriate for a high-volume global trading environment
• Strong grounding in traditional financial markets (Trad Fi) combined with demonstrable knowledge of digital asset trading markets
• Proven experience running or scaling a significant trading or product business with P&L accountability
• Leadership experience across trading, technology, product and operational functions
• Experience managing large global teams within fast-paced financial markets environments
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance innovation, performance and risk management

The role offers a highly competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, paid quarterly and directly linked to the performance of the business unit.
