Senior Accountant (Chartered) (Government

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the General Ledger and ensure accurate financial records
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
• Lead budgeting forecasting and financial planning activities
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Monitor financial performance and provide management with strategic financial insights
• Ensure compliance with IFRS company policies and applicable UAE regulations
• Support senior management with financial analysis reporting and decision-making
• Previous experience working with strong government entities or semi-government organizations strong is highly preferred but strong not mandatory strong
• Experience in managing audits statutory compliance and financial reporting for large organizations will be an advantage

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory
• Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Strong expertise in:
  
  General Ledger (GL) accounting
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Financial Reporting
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Auditing and Internal Controls
• Financial Statement Preparation
• Sound knowledge of IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
• Proficient in ERP accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
