Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Financial Crime, Financial Compliance
Perform enhanced customer due diligence CDD and verify customer identity during onboarding and periodic reviews Review and validate KYC documents beneficial ownership information and customer details Assess source of funds source of wealth and the nature and purpose of the customer relationship Obtain additional supporting documentation and corroborate the legitimacy of wealth income and business activities for high-risk relationships Conduct sanctions PEP and adverse media screening in line with AML CFT requirements Perform periodic KYC refreshes and ensure customer information remains current and complete and Maintain accurate and audit-ready customer records
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Criminology, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
Professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or ICA (International Compliance Association) qualifications.
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a financial crime compliance, KYC/AML, or CDD role within the financial services industry.
Proficiency in regulatory frameworks like BSA/USA PATRIOT Act, EU AML Directives, and FATF recommendations.
