Position: Cashier / Treasury Officer

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the day-to-day fund settlement and banking operations of the company s Middle East entities ensuring that all receipts and payments are accurate timely and compliant and for maintaining the treasury ledgers and bank account framework

Key Responsibilities Daily Overseas Settlement Operations Review payment application documents of overseas entities contracts invoices approval workflows and process overseas corporate payments supplier payments service fees overseas employee reimbursements and payroll disbursements Handle confirmation of incoming overseas remittances and distribute credit notifications Operate overseas corporate online banking platforms ensuring payment instructions are submitted accurately statuses are tracked and bank advices are properly filed Handle the issuance collection acceptance and discounting of overseas bank instruments cheques drafts letters of credit guarantees Foreign Exchange Settlement Handle cross-border receipts outward remittances and FX settlement purchase transactions and prepare supporting trade-background documentation customs declarations contracts invoices Account and Fund Management Manage the day-to-day maintenance of overseas bank accounts including online banking authority management safekeeping of USB tokens security devices account information updates and annual reviews Maintain the overseas bank account ledger recording account balances currencies purposes and authorized signatories Prepare the daily overseas cash position report monitor balances and liquidity across overseas accounts and flag abnormal movements Perform regular bank reconciliations prepare bank reconciliation statements and follow up on outstanding unreconciled items Compliance and Records Strictly enforce the company s special payment rules and approval authority matrix identify and escalation non-compliant instructions Organize and archive overseas settlement vouchers bank advices statements and other source documents on a monthly basis Support internal and external audits tax inspections and regulatory reviews by providing overseas settlement documentation

Requirements Education

Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics or a related discipline.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in fund settlement, cashier/treasury operations, or a financial shared service center.

Professional Skills
  • Familiar with overseas bank settlement procedures and proficient in operating overseas corporate online banking systems.
  • Proficient in Excel (functions, pivot tables); hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Kingdee, Yonyou).
  • Solid basic accounting knowledge, able to read and interpret balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Able to use English as a working language, with the ability to read overseas bank correspondence, statements and business documents fluently.
Professional Qualities
  • Accuracy and rigor: highly sensitive to numbers, zero-error mindset, able to sustain quality under high-volume repetitive work.
  • Compliance discipline: strictly follows approval procedures, with sound judgment on abnormal payments and a clear sense of when to elevate.
  • Communication and coordination: communicates effectively with overseas banks, business departments and the finance team to bring issues to closure.
  • Resilience under pressure: able to cope with month-end and quarter-end settlement peaks and ad-hoc cross-border fund transfers.
  • Confidentiality: strictly safeguards the company's cash positions, account information and commercial secrets.
Preferred
  • CFA / CPA / ACCA qualification preferred.
  • Existing local Middle East bank account resources / relationships preferred.
