Aldar Education is seeking a UAE National Finance Officer for a Full Time, on-site role at Bateen World Academy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, with an immediate start. The position supports day-to-day school finance operations, including tuition fee collection, payment follow-up, petty cash, budget monitoring, activity and examination collections, purchasing coordination and financial reporting. The role also involves regular communication with parents, department heads and Aldar Education headquarters.

- Respond to parent enquiries and requirements relating to finance and admissions.
- Manage tuition fee collections and monitor outstanding payments.
- Follow up on late payments and returned cheques.
- Maintain accurate records relating to school collections and payments.
- Prepare bank collection reports and complete cheque scanning requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant teams and headquarters on finance-related transactions.
- Manage petty cash transactions, reconciliation and replenishment.
- Coordinate collections for school trips and activities.
- Maintain student lists and supporting information relating to trip and activity payments.
- Submit required information to headquarters for payment processing.
- Manage self-funded budgets and associated financial records.
- Coordinate transport invoice information and prepare receipts for self-funded trips.
- Liaise with headquarters regarding applicable transport payments.
- Administer funds collected through charitable activities and arrange transfer to the Red Crescent or other specified recipients.
- Monitor departmental budgets and expenditure.
- Prepare monthly income and expenditure statements and updates for Heads of Department, budget holders and the Principal.
- Include petty cash and reprographic expenditure within relevant financial analysis.
- Manage reprographic analysis and provide Heads of Department with updates on spending.
- Maintain accurate information to support effective school budget monitoring.
- Coordinate stationery requests from staff and place approved orders.
- Follow up outstanding stationery orders and maintain appropriate supplies.
- Manage exercise book, textbook and library book orders.
- Prepare recommendation reports and coordinate with headquarters for the issuance of Local Purchase Orders.
- Manage student planner and yearbook orders.
- Maintain appropriate records relating to purchasing and school resource expenditure.
- Work with the Examinations Officer on financial administration for external examinations.
- Coordinate the collection of examination fees.
- Maintain accurate records of examination-related collections.
- Support other school payment and collection processes within the responsibilities of the Finance Officer.
- Comply with health and safety requirements, applicable legislation and school policies.
- Attend training relevant to the responsibilities of the position.
- Provide professional customer service when dealing with parents, colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Undertake other reasonable duties appropriate to the grading and level of responsibility of the role.
- Bachelor 's Degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the region.
- Customer service experience is required.
- Experience with in the education sector is preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Strong interpersonal skills for working within a multicultural environment.
- Excellent office management skills.
- Good computer literacy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues and school leadership.
- Ability to organize financial records and manage multiple administrative responsibilities.
- Arabic fluency is preferred.
