Director of Finance - Real Estate
Industry: Real Estate
Contract: 6-Month Secondment
Experience: 12 15+ Years
- 12 15+ years of progressive Finance experience.
- Strong Real Estate Finance / Portfolio Finance experience.
- Proven experience in Real Estate portfolio operations
. - Strong experience across Property Management and Asset Management
. - Experience managing or supporting income-generating / lettable property portfolios
. - Strong understanding of asset-level and portfolio-level financial performance
. - Strong Finance Business Partnering experience.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, P&L, cash flow, and financial reporting
. - Exposure to leasing operations, rental income, occupancy, and operating costs
. - Strong commercial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
. - CA / ACCA / CPA / CMA / CIMA / ACA preferred.
We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance Real Estate to lead and support the financial management of a Real Estate portfolio.
The role will partner closely with Property Management, Asset Management, Leasing, and Operations teams to drive portfolio financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and identify opportunities for asset optimization and value enhancement
.
The ideal candidate will combine strong financial leadership with hands-on Real Estate portfolio experience and the ability to translate financial information into actionable commercial insights.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead finance support for Real Estate portfolio operations and asset performance
. - Partner with Property and Asset Management teams on financial and operational performance.
- Monitor revenue, rental income, operating costs, profitability, cash flow, and portfolio KPIs
. - Analyse financial performance of income-generating and lettable properties
. - Lead/support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting
. - Analyse portfolio and asset-level performance, trends, and variances.
- Assess the financial impact of leasing and operational activities
. - Identify opportunities for asset optimization, cost efficiency, and portfolio profitability
. - Provide senior management with financial analysis, commercial insights, and recommendations
. - Support financial governance, controls, and performance management across the portfolio.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to implement initiatives that improve financial and operational performance
.
