Financial Manager, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
The Finance Manager will oversee and manage the company's financial operations to ensure financial targets are met while minimizing risks. This role involves managing accounting records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with auditors, investors, and lenders. As a leadership position within the Finance function, the role demands strong technical expertise, business acumen, and a commitment to ethics and organizational values.
YourResponsibilities
- Team Leadership: Define KPIs aligned with company objectives, develop team members' growth plans, monitor performance, and foster open communication.
- Bookkeeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate accounts, ensure adherence to IFRS and COSO standards, manage VAT, corporate tax, ESG/ESR, and TP compliance, and oversee audit processes.
- Financial Planning and Analysis & Reporting: Lead budgeting and forecasting, monitor financial performance, analyze budget variances, and optimize financial processes and systems.
- Treasury Management: Maintain credit lines, optimize debt structure, manage PCR expectations, settle debts timely, and oversee financial covenants and working capital.
- Financial Operations: Manage accounts payable/receivable, ensure compliant procurement, oversee bookkeeping closures, monitor KPIs, and supervise inventory and fixed assets processes.
- Business Partnerships: Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to enhance operational performance, cost management, strategic initiatives, and decision support.
We seek a qualified Finance Manager with 8 to 10 years of progressive finance experience, including 3 to 5 years leading teams of five or more. A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline is required, along with professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CMA, or ACCA.
The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of IFRS, strong ERP system experience, and the ability to effectively partner with leadership and other functions. Key competencies include financial analysis and decision support, strategic thinking, leadership and team development, regulatory compliance, ethical judgment, risk management, and excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience in crisis management and data security awareness is also essential.
Additional Information for Internal EmployeesThis position reports directly to the Head of Finance within the Group CFO division. It supervises Senior Accountants, Accountants, and Finance Analysts. The role is classified as Grade 9 and is a full-time overhead employee position.
