Manager - Direct Tax

As a manager specializing in Direct Tax focusing on UAE corporate tax, you will provide competent technical advice with a high level of complexity for UAE corporate tax implementation and similar projects. You will manage a team of junior and senior consultants. You are expected to demonstrate a pro-active, client-oriented attitude and work towards identifying new business opportunities.

• Deliver technical advice on complex tax matters and transactions;
• Assist clients in efficient implementation of UAE Corporate Tax specializing in the Financial Services Sector;
• Assist clients in implementing adequate and efficient processes and compliance frameworks for all types of tax requirements imposed to the financial institutions in UAE;
• Assist clients in obtaining clarifications on complex/ ambiguous tax matters;
• Provide tax compliance services;
• Help in developing tax technology tools to improve the operational effectiveness of our clients’ tax function and the efficient delivery of our tax technical services;
• Assist tax functions to transform themselves to cope with rapid regulatory and legislative changes and pressure to do more with less;
• Detect and develop new business opportunities;
• Build robust business relationships with client Senior Management;
• Be responsible for maintaining an excellent relationship with your clients;
• Act as first-line contact for a variety of financial services clients;
• Manage various projects and workflows thoroughly and accurately;
• Supervise and manage assignments by consultants and seniors in the group;
• Contribute actively to the development of client-oriented cross-border ideas and policies;
• Participate in and contribute to attaining team goals;
• Have the opportunity to go on assignments abroad and/ or accompany senior management on in-country visits to broaden your international network

• Professional Tax Certification including ACA, ACCA or equivalent
• At least 8 years of professional experience in the industry or as a consultant
• An additional postgraduate degree in finance/ taxation is an asset
