An organisation operating within the oil and gas sector in Abu Dhabi.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance and accounting department.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making.
- IFRS reporting
- M&A Accounting
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Monitor cash flow, financial transactions, and account reconciliations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments to optimise financial performance and processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on financial strategies.
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance, such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis within the Energy & Natural Resources sector.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
