Investment Associate​/Senior Associate – Investments

We are supporting a leading Abu Dhabi investment platform in the appointment of a junior investment professional. The team is specifically seeking candidates with approximately 1–4 years of relevant experience who are keen to develop their investment careers through hands‑on analytical and transaction support work.

This is a substantive execution‑focused role within a lean investment team. Successful candidates will be comfortable working as junior team members, building financial models, analysing investments and producing presentation materials for senior colleagues over the coming years.

• Build, maintain and review detailed financial models, valuations and investment return analyses.
• Prepare investment presentations, PowerPoint slide decks, investment committee materials and supporting analysis.
• Research sectors, companies and markets; assess potential investment opportunities.
• Support commercial and financial due diligence, transaction analysis and execution work streams.
• Analyse business plans, financial statements, transaction structures and investment risks.
• Work closely with senior investment professionals and contribute to live transactions while remaining directly involved in day‑to‑day analytical deliverables.

• Approximately 1–4 years of relevant professional experience, ideally with exposure to transactions and investments.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, Excel and PowerPoint skills; willing to produce models and slide decks personally.
• Relevant experience in investment banking (M&A or related coverage), private equity, principal investments, sovereign/institutional investment platforms, or Big Four Deals / Transaction Services / Corporate Finance.
• Evidence of sound analytical judgement, attention to detail, strong communication and an interest in developing a long-term buy‑side investment career.
• Comfortable joining at Analyst / Associate level and remaining a hands‑on junior contributor for several years, rather than expecting near‑term VP promotion or junior staff support.

Investment Banking:
Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, Citi, Bank of America, Barclays, Lazard, Rothschild & Co., Evercore and comparable firms.

Private Equity / Investment Platforms:
Carlyle, KKR, Blackstone, Brookfield, Apollo and similar institutional investors.

Big Four:
PwC, EY, Deloitte and KPMG, particularly Deals, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Valuations and M&A professionals with relevant transaction exposure.

A technically strong early‑career professional who enjoys hands‑on modelling and presentation work, wants to learn from senior investors and is genuinely motivated to grow within a buy‑side investment platform. Candidates seeking an immediate senior title, a near‑term VP promotion or responsibility for delegating analytical work are unlikely to be aligned with the current team requirement.
