Role Description The Owner role at SB Investments Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Nashik, responsible for overseeing the firm’s strategic direction, investment decisions, and operational performance. Day-to-day activities include evaluating new investment opportunities, reviewing financial and operational reports, and guiding portfolio companies on growth, risk management, and capital allocation. The role involves collaborating with management teams, advisors, and external partners to structure deals, monitor key performance indicators, and ensure adherence to the company’s long-term value creation strategy.

The Owner will also define governance standards, set priorities for sector focus, and represent the firm in key negotiations and stakeholder discussions. In addition, this role includes mentoring leaders within the organization, safeguarding compliance and ethical practices, and driving continuous improvement across all business units.
Qualifications

• Strong background in investment management, corporate finance, or private equity, with proven experience in evaluating and structuring investments.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, business building, and long‑term value creation across multiple sectors such as healthcare, technology, services, or real assets.
• Advanced skills in financial analysis, risk assessment, and portfolio oversight, including the ability to interpret complex financial statements and market data.
• Experience leading and partnering with senior management teams, with a focus on operational excellence, governance, and performance management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, with capacity to represent the firm in high-level discussions and transactions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and a disciplined approach to capital allocation and decision‑making.
• High standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality, with commitment to ethical and sustainable business practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) or professional certifications are beneficial.
• Prior experience in ownership, board‑level roles, or entrepreneurial leadership within investment or multi‑business environments is highly advantageous.
