Job Description / Role:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a diversified group of companies in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will report directly to Senior Management / Group Management.
Experience
Required:
- Strong experience in financial control, accounting, financial reporting, and corporate finance.
- Previous experience in internal audit, internal controls, or risk management is highly preferred.
- Strong experience in banking relationships, treasury operations, cash management, and financing facilities.
- Proven experience in a group, holding company, or diversified business environment.
- Experience dealing with external auditors, banks, financial institutions, and professional advisors.
Education
Qualifications:
Professional accounting qualification is required: CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent
Skills Required:
- Excellent financial and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, and financial analysis
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
