MVA International Headhunters is representing a leading Abu Dhabi-based investment platform seeking to appoint talented Investment Analysts / Associates to its investment team.

This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious investment banking professionals looking to transition from a leading international investment bank into a sophisticated buy-side investment environment.

Our client is particularly interested in candidates with 2–3 years of front-office investment banking experience gained at a leading bulge bracket investment bank in London, continental Europe or North America.

The successful candidates will join a highly experienced investment team, working directly with senior investment professionals on investment evaluation, financial modelling, due diligence and transaction execution.

The position offers an opportunity to develop hands‑on buy-side investment experience within an established institutional investment environment.

• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis and investment return models.
• Evaluate potential investment opportunities through financial analysis, valuation and commercial assessment.
• Prepare investment committee presentations, transaction memoranda, investment recommendations and supporting PowerPoint materials.
• Conduct detailed company, sector and market research to support investment decisions.
• Support financial and commercial due diligence, transaction structuring and execution activities.
• Analyse financial statements, business plans, financial forecasts, investment structures and potential returns.
• Assist senior investment professionals throughout the investment lifecycle, from initial opportunity assessment through to transaction execution.
• Work collaboratively within a lean investment team while taking direct responsibility for analytical deliverables.

We are seeking technically strong, commercially minded investment banking professionals with the following experience and capabilities:

• 2–3 years of relevant front-office investment banking experience, ideally within M&A, corporate finance or industry coverage teams.
• Experience gained at a leading bulge bracket investment bank in London, Europe or North America.
• Demonstrable involvement in live M&A transactions, financial advisory assignments or other complex corporate transactions.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and financial statement analysis skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including preparing detailed financial models and investment presentations.
• A sound understanding of corporate finance, investment analysis, transaction structures and valuation methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills, commercial judgement and attention to detail.
• Strong academic credentials, communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior investment professionals.
• A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within institutional investment management.
