Accounting & Operations Vice President

Maintain accurate financial records support the preparation of financial statements and local regulatory reports and contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities

Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payables and receivables ensuring appropriate documentation and adherence to internal procedures

Ensure accurate and timely execution of banking transactions including remittances loans deposits

Reconciliations amp Controls Perform and support account reconciliations investigate discrepancies and ensure the integrity of financial and operational data

Ensure adherence to applicable banking regulations internal policies operational procedures and relevant control frameworks

Identify potential operational risks support risk assessment and mitigation activities and contribute to the implementation of effective control measures

Support the implementation review and monitoring of operational policies and procedures promoting efficiency accuracy and consistency across processes

Track key operational metrics and performance indicators providing accurate reporting and supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Coordinate the preparation of documentation and records required for internal and external audits ensuring completeness and accuracy

Maintain effective working relationships with internal departments and relevant external stakeholders delivering high standards of service and operational support

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid understanding of accounting principles, banking operations and the regulatory environment, combined with a structured approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to accuracy and control.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial operations or banking operations.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls and banking processes.
• Familiarity with banking transactions, reconciliations and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
• A proactive, professional and collaborative approach, with strong communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality.
