A leading Abu Dhabi-based organization is seeking an experienced financial planning and analysis professional to lead its FP&A function, drive financial performance, and support the organization’s continued growth and strategic objectives. The role will lead the organization’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, overseeing strategic financial planning, annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, financial modeling, management reporting, variance analysis, and business performance monitoring.

Working closely with senior leadership and business unit heads, the successful candidate will provide forward-looking financial insights, evaluate business performance against strategic objectives, identify risks and opportunities, and support key commercial and investment decisions. The role will also drive continuous improvement in financial planning processes, reporting capabilities, and performance management frameworks.

• Lead the FP&A function, ensuring robust financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management across the organization.
• Develop and maintain long-term financial plans aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities, growth objectives, and business plans.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting, coordinating inputs from business units and ensuring alignment with strategic and operational targets.
• Oversee financial modelling, scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and business case development to assess strategic initiatives and support decision-making.
• Deliver timely and insightful management reports, financial dashboards, and performance analysis for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Analyse actual financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, identifying key variances, underlying drivers, risks, and corrective actions.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate revenue growth, cost efficiency, profitability, margins, and operational performance.
• Develop and monitor key financial and operational performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress against strategic and financial objectives.
• Drive financial resource allocation and expenditure optimization, ensuring alignment with business priorities and expected returns.
• Establish and enhance financial planning methodologies, reporting standards, forecasting models, and performance management processes.
• Present financial insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, supporting informed and timely business decisions.

• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA, or an equivalent qualification preferred.
• Significant experience in senior finance, FP&A, financial planning, or commercial finance leadership roles.
• Proven expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Demonstrated experience leading FP&A activities within large, complex, or multi-business organizations.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
• Extensive experience partnering with senior executives and business leaders to support performance improvement and strategic decision-making.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling capabilities, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
• Experience developing financial KPIs, management dashboards, and performance measurement frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in financial planning tools, ERP systems, and reporting platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, and corporate performance management practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
