Regional Head of Investors Relations

Hanson Search is partnering with a leading global private equity firm to appoint a Regional Head of Investor Relations based in the United Arab Emirates This is a senior highly visible role leading the firm s capital raising and investor relationships across the Middle East It involves working closely with the global investor relations team and senior investment professionals

The firm manages a diversified range of private markets strategies including buyout growth infrastructure and credit on behalf of institutional investors worldwide As its regional presence grows the Regional Head of Investor Relations will own relationships with some of the world s largest and most sophisticated investors The role will also drive fundraising across flagship and regional strategies while acting as a senior ambassador for the firm in the Middle East

Lead the investor relations and capital formation strategy for the Middle East setting fundraising priorities and coverage plans in line with the firm s global objectives

Lead capital raising across the firm s commingled funds separately managed accounts co-investment programmes and strategic partnerships from initial engagement through to commitment and closing

Build and own senior relationships with investors across the GCC and wider region These include sovereign wealth funds government-related entities pension funds insurers banks family offices and private wealth platforms

Serve as the primary point of contact for regional limited partners coordinating meetings with investment teams and leading investor due diligence processes Ensure a consistently high standard of service and communication

Work with investment and product colleagues to structure tailored mandates and partnership arrangements for large regional investors with support from legal

Keep a detailed understanding of regional investor appetite allocation trends regulatory developments and the competitive market Share insight with senior leadership to inform product and fundraising strategy

Represent the firm at senior investor meetings and industry events strengthening its profile across the region

Oversee the preparation of fundraising materials investor presentations due diligence questionnaires and regular investor reporting working closely with the global investor relations team

Ensure all regional fundraising activity complies with applicable regulatory requirements including ADGM and DIFC frameworks and with the firm s internal policies

Build and lead a high-performing regional investor relations team while collaborating effectively with colleagues across global offices

• Significant investor relations or capital raising experience within private equity or alternative asset management including institutional coverage
• A background at a placement agent or investment bank with a strong private markets focus is equally relevant
• A proven track record of raising significant capital from Middle East institutional investors with a network across sovereign and government-related entities and leading family offices
• Thorough knowledge of private markets products fund structures terms and investor due diligence processes
• A strong understanding of the region s investment market and regulatory environment with an appreciation of local business culture
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the negotiating ability and gravitas to engage chief investment officers and senior decision-makers
• Experience leading teams and working effectively within a global matrixed organisation
• A CFA qualification is advantageous and Arabic language skills are highly desirable
• Willingness to be based full-time in the UAE and to travel extensively across the region and internationally
